What hours are you open?
Skiing and Snowboarding:
Monday thru Friday (non-holiday) – 9am – 10pm
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays – 8am – 10pm
What are peak time periods?
Weekends – Saturday and Sunday – and Holidays below.
What are holiday times?
Christmas week: December 25, 2008– January 4, 2009
Martin Luther King Jr. Day Weekend: January 17-19, 2009
President’s Day Weekend: February 14-16, 2009
What are your ski session times?
We do not offer session times. For the ultimate convenience to our guests, we give you Flex Tickets that begin when you arrive and are available in 4 and 8 hour time increments.
When is opening day?
This is a little tougher to answer...we typically open in mid-December, sometimes earlier, sometimes later. It all depends on our good friend, Mother Nature. We generally enjoy skiing and boarding until mid-March.
Rates

Do you offer a military discount?
Yes – $5 discount on midweek/non-holiday lift tickets and $1 discount on tubing tickets for the military personnel only. A current valid ID is required. Family members are not included.
Do you offer a senior discount?
Seniors age 65 and over receive a 50% discount on LIFT TICKETS on midweek/non-holiday time periods.
We also special rates for seniors on our Season Passes.
Do you offer a junior lift ticket?
Yes – Ages 6 to 12 receive a discounted lift ticket that is available at all times.
How about children under age 5?
Children under age 5 receive a free lift ticket at all times with a purchasing adult ticket.
Rentals
Do children and juniors receive a discount on rentals?
Children under age 5 and juniors do not receive a discount on rentals. They pay the standard price.
How many rental skis do you have?
We have 2500 pairs of Rossignol shaped skis. Boot sizes range from child's size 6 to mens size 16.
How many rental snowboards do you have?
We have 800 Burton snowboards, including women's and kid's specific equipment. Boot sizes range from child's size 11 to men's size 15.
Do you require/recommend helmets?
Helmets are not required at Liberty, but we do encourage you to consider wearing one. Helmets are required for terrain park competitions. We rent them for $12 per day. Please check out www.lidsonkids.org for more helmet info.

Can my 7 year old go in a First Class® package?
No, they must already have turned 8 to enroll in this program.
Can I accompany my child on their lesson (CLC, group, private)?
We prefer that parents watch from a distance as we have learned that this allows for the children to get the most from their lesson. We do offer a Private Lesson called the Ski With Me where the child can be accompanied by the parent on the private lesson. This lesson is for the child and the parent only accompanies – receives no instruction.
At what age can my child start to ski?
We begin class lessons through the CLC at age 4. Private lessons begin at age 3.
At what age can my child start to snowboard?
Class lessons begin through the CLC at age 6. Private lessons begin at age 4.
What sort of racing do you offer?
Liberty has a race team program – The Liberty Racing Club. Please visit the Liberty Racing Club website for more info. We also offer a multi week Race Training program on Wednesday evenings and a Junior Race Program on Saturdays – please visit our Development Programs page or contact Linda Steinle at 717-642-8282 ext. 3364.
What age do you start babysitting children?
We start babysitting at age 6 months – reservations are required for children under 1 year and are recommended for children over 1. Please call 717-642-8282 ext. 3400 for reservations or more info.

How old does my child have to be to tube on the big hill?
At age 5, we allow children to tube on the main runs. Children ages 2-4 must tube on our Pebble Ridge Kiddie Tubing Hill – please call ahead to make sure it is available.
Can we tube together on the same tube?
No, double riding on one tube is not allowed. There are times our tubing attendents will allow you to join tubes together.
What are the hours for tubing?
Monday through Thursday (non-holiday): 4pm – 10pm
Friday: 9am – 10pm
Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays: 8am – 10pm
Can I use my Season Pass, Advantage Card, or Night Club Card at tubing?
No, none of these products apply to tubing.
How many tubing lanes/runs do you have?
We have up to 15 lanes and one moving carpet lift.
Groups & Night Club Cards

How many are a group at Tubing?
It takes 20 or more to make a tubing group. Reservations are required and are made by calling Group Sales at 717-642-8282 ext. 3305.
How many are a group for skiing and snowboarding?
It takes 15 or more people to form a skiing/snowboarding group.
How many people does it take to form a Night Club Card group?
It takes a minimum of 15 people.
When do Night Club Cards begin?
You may begin using your card on January 1, 2007.
Are Night Club Cards valid on holiday weekends in January and February?
Yes, they are.
Terrain Park & Halfpipe

Do you have a terrain park or half pipe?
Yes, we have both and they are open to both skiers and snowboarders. The terrain park has its own J-Bar surface lift.
How big is your half pipe?
It is 500 ft long. Due to the large amount of snow required, the half pipe may not be open throughout the entire season.
How big is your terrain park?
There are now three parks encompassing 10 acres total. The parks include a varietry of hits, rail and boxes design for a progression of ability level. Do not ride features above your ability level.
Can I take a lesson for terrain park instruction?
Yes, we offer Introduction to Terrain Parks Clinics. These will cover basics of terrain park usage and etiquette. Reservations are strongly recommended and all clinics are subject to the availability of instructors.
Facilities
Do you have a ski/snowboard shop?
Yes, we have a full service shop in our base lodge – Liberty Mountain Sports. The shop also does tunes and mounting.
Do you have an arcade?
There are arcade games in the lower level of the Boulder Ridge Tubing Lodge.
How many hotel rooms do you have?
There are 40 rooms and one luxury suite in the slopeside Liberty Hotel.
What kind of food places do you have on site?
We have our main food court area located in the upper main lodge, a bakery directly below the main lodge, a Starbucks coffee bar in the food court area and and a food court at Boulder Ridge Snow Tubing. In addition on the weekends and holidays we offer a BBQ on the main deck and the South Pole on the back side of the mountain.
For table service dining, McKee's Tavern is open for lunch and dinner daily. Check ahead of time for drink specials and tavern entertainment each weekend.
Do you have internet access?
Yes, we offer free wireless internet access to all our guests in the Heavenly bridgeway and in the Eastwind Room.

Our vertical drop is 620 feet.
How long is your longest run and which one is it?
Dipsy Doodle is 5200 feet long
How many trails do you have?
We have 16 – 35% beginner, 40% intermediate, 25% expert.
Do you have night skiing?
Yes, we have night skiing on all of our mountains 7 nights a week.
How much snowmaking do you have?
We have 100% snowmaking on all of our trails.
