Whether you are new to skiing or snowboarding or have been enjoying fun on the snow for years, our skilled instructors will make your time on the snow the best it can be. The programs listed below are available for ages 8 and over. For Liberty's children's programs, please visit our Children's Learning Center.
First Class Learn to Ski and Board Program - especially for First Timers!
Liberty Mountain introduces more people to skiing and snowboarding than most resorts in the nation. Our First Class Learn to Ski and Snowboard Package and Mountain Passport program is a tried and true method, and we guarantee your success! Forget standing in the ticket lines unsure of what to buy! Our First Class Package is as little as $54, and includes everything you need for your very first day on the slopes, including:
- An open to close lift ticket good on the First Class Quad and the new Dipsy Quad plus our moving carpet lift - you only pay for lifts you will be able use your first day!
- Ski or snowboard rental equipment - including the new Burton Snowboard gear!
- A one-hour class lesson. You'll learn to turn, stop, and ride a lift and we will work with you until you can, guaranteed!
- When your lesson is complete, you have the option of purchasing your very own Mountain Passport Card. This card entitles you to outrageously great deals designed especially with you, the beginner skier or boarder!

Please Note: You may only enjoy the amazing benefits of this beginner's only program once in your lifetime...if you have had the priviledge of owning a Mountain Passport, or being a passholder of any kind, in a previous season, you are not eligible for The Mountain Passport. Sorry, some things are just too good to do more than once!!

For more advanced skiers and riders. Packages include a lift ticket valid on all lifts that are open that day, a one hour class lesson at your ability level, and use of rental ski or snowboard equipment. For children under age 8, please visit our Children's Learning Center page.

Class Lessons
Class lessons for ages 8 and up are available every day for all ability levels. Please refer to the scheduled meeting times below and meet with your equipment on the snow side of the Learning Center. Lift ticket and rental equipment are not included. For children under age 8, please visit our Children's Learning Center page.

Lesson Times
Lessons for all ability levels are available every day. Learn to Package lessons form continuously through out the day. All Mountain Package and class lessons meet at the times listed below. Please plan to arrive at the resort ONE HOUR prior to your lesson time. Private lessons meet at the Learning Center desk. All other lessons meet on the snow side of the Learning Center Building.
Daily lesson times are: 10am, Noon, 2pm, 4:30pm, 5:45pm, 7pm.
Private Lessons
Private lessons provide a level of attention that only a one-on-one situation can achieve. Your instructor will be totally focused on you, and you alone! Private lessons are great for taking care of specific problems that you may be having, or for our guests who prefer not to be in a group environment. Reservations are recommended for Private Lessons. Multi-week Clinics for Intermediate & Advanced Skiers and Riders
We offer a variety of multi-week clinics that are focused on taking skiers and riders to the next level. From racing and carving clinics, to lessons on conquering the moguls, we can help make your on mountain experience more rewarding. Ski with Me
If you would like to accompany your child in their lesson, try "Ski With Me". This is a special private lesson for your child ages 3 and older. The parent receives tips from the instructor on how to help the child's skills develop. This 1 hour special private lesson for your child is $95. The cost for an additional child is $50. We ask that you only have an additional child participate when both children are over the age of 5. The cost for an additional parent is $10. Parents participating in 'Ski with Me' must also be on a ski or board, and have a decent knowlege of how to ski or board themselves before the lesson. Silver Streak Program - Age 50+
Recapture the thrill of skiing down a snowy slope. Tune up your skills. Get in shape for your next trip out West. Whether you are a beginner or a double diamond skier, we have a class for you. Learn the latest techniques for dynamic turns or step up to a new level of performance. Then relax over lunch with your instructors and fellow Silver Steakers. This group ski lesson is held every Wednesday morning at 10am, beginning January 2nd, and is open to the 'over 50' set. The program with a 4 hour lift ticket is $41, with an 8 hour lift ticket is $45, and includes a two hour lesson and lunch. Rentals are not included. Register at the Learning Center desk.
Ski Tips - Saturdays & Sundays
Meet with our PSIA instructors at the top of the Strata and Eastwind Quads at 10am and 1:30pm each Saturday and Sunday for a free mini clinic designed to improve your skiing.
Introduction to Terrain Park Clinics
This group clinic for ages 8 and over includes an overview of terrain park features, safety issues, terrain park and pipe etiquette, and instruction on level-one park features. Register at the Learning Center desk, located in the Clock Tower Building. Reservations are recommended as clinics are subject to availability. Please call 717-642-8282 x3317 to verify lesson times. A signed release is required and a parent or guardian must sign if child is under 18. Helmets are required for this clinic - bring your own or rent one at the resort. Cost for this one hour clinic is $35.
