By reviewing this information while planning your first visit, you'll arrive at Liberty Mountain well prepared to begin your skiing or snowboarding adventure.
The best way to get started on a lifetime of winter fun! Learn to ski or snowboard with our First Class Learn to Ski & Board Package! After you complete your First Class lesson, you will be eligible to purchase our Mountain Passport for $45. This will give you your next visit free, as well as 40% discounts on lift tickets and rental equipment and FREE lessons for the remainder of the season!

First Class Learn to Ski and Board Program - especially for First Timers!

Liberty Mountain introduces more people to skiing and snowboarding than most resorts in the nation. Our First Class Learn to Ski and Snowboard Package and Mountain Passport program is a tried and true method, and we guarantee your success! Forget standing in the ticket lines unsure of what to buy! Our First Class Package is as little as $54 (only $39 from opening day thru December 23rd!), and includes everything you need for your very first day on the slopes, including:
- An open to close lift ticket good on the First Class Quad and the new Dipsy Quad plus our moving carpet lift - you only pay for lifts you will be able use your first day!
- Ski or snowboard rental equipment - including men's, women's and kid's specific Burton Snowboard gear!
- A one-hour class lesson. You'll learn to turn, stop, and ride a lift or your money back, guaranteed!
- When your lesson is complete, you have the option of purchasing your very own Mountain Passport Card, entitling you to outrageously great deals designed especially with you, the beginner skier or boarder in mind!

Please Note: You may only enjoy the amazing benefits of this program once in your lifetime...if you have had the priviledge of owning a Mountain Passport, or being a passholder of any kind, in a previous season, you are not eligible for a Mountain Passport. Sorry, some things are just too good to do more than once!!
