Burton Learn to Ride Center  

“Progression” is what makes Burton rental equipment superior to other rental boards first-timers might have tried.  It is also a philosophy shared by the folks at Burton and the technicians at Liberty – we strongly believe that a smooth start and easy path for progress is the best way to develop a first timer into a true snowboarder.  We are excited to prove it to you in the upcoming winter season!

Liberty Mountain has officially joined the ranks of resorts like Whistler-Blackcomb, Heavenly, and Vail in becoming a Burton Learn to Ride, Kid’s Learn to Ride and Women’s Learn to Ride Center.  We’ve always believed in the best instruction for first-time riders, and now they’ll be on the best equipment too!  Liberty’s snowboard rental shop rents only Burton LTR gear – the most innovative snowboard rental equipment on the market!

Women rejoice!  Liberty has earned the distinction of becoming a Burton Women Learn to Ride Center--what does that mean? It means that Liberty has demonstrated a strong dedication to women-specific teaching and learning. This ensures women's snowboarding boots, bindings and boards, and instruction geared especially towards women.

Liberty Mountain has been chosen as the East Coast Resort Host of the Women's Super Camp! The 2 day Camp will take place February 7 & 8. Mark your calendar now and check back later for more details!

Burton Women's Learn to Ride Clinics! While we offer women's equipment and teach lessons to women every day, we are also offering four special women's clinic event days! These clinics are open to women of all ages (8 and up). Gather your friends, your daughters, your mother and see how much fun snowboarding can be!  

The clinic includes: a one and a half hour class lesson, women's specific Burton rental boots and a board, an all day beginner area lift ticket and a free gift. Check back for 2008-09 dates and rates.
