Liberty Mountain is proud to support BRASS in their efforts with the Wounded Warrior Project.

The BRASS (Blue Ridge Adaptive Snow Sports) Adaptive Program at Liberty Mountain Resort offers ski and snowboard instruction for people with disabilities:

  • Visual Impairment – a person with complete or partial blindness.
  • Developmental and Cognitive Disabilities – a person with a physical or mental impairment that affects his/her ability to process information and/or to coordinate and control his/her body.
  • Mobility Impairment – a person has the use of only one leg (Three Track Skiing); a person who needs assistance with balance (Four Track Skiing); or a person who uses a wheelchair or walks for short distances or periods of time (Sit-Down Skiing).

Lessons

Lessons are available on weekends by reservation. To make a reservation, contact the BRASS program answering machine at 717-642-8282, ext. 3479 or send an e-mail to info@brasski.org. We will make every effort to accommodate as many people as possible however BRASS has limited adaptive equipment and instructors. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis. 

2007-08 Rates 

BRASS offers the following packages to meet the needs of students:

Lesson Times: 10:00 – Noon and 1:30 – 3:30 PM

 

 

 

 

If the person is coming as a member of a group (for example Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church) there is a surcharge to the group price for the lift ticket, adaptive lesson, and rental equipment. Please have your group leader contact Liberty Mountain Resort Group Sales and BRASS to make your reservation. 
 
Each student will be required to complete a Student Information and Waiver form before the lesson. If time permits, the form will be sent to the student before the lesson.
