Ingredients for fun! What’s New at Liberty Mountain for 2009-2010!?
There is a lot to be excited about at Liberty this upcoming winter season!

More improvements at Liberty Mountain - after last year's MAJOR LODGE EXPANSION, we continue to make many upgrades to our resort facilities.

Off-mountain Improvements

The Alpine Room - Experience the true feeling of a mountainside lodge with the new look of the Alpine Room. Freshly painted and oak-paneled walls, wood beams accenting the ceiling, and new carpet complete the redesign and allow the room to better harmonize with the signature stone fireplace and newly improved Alpine Market.

The Bakery and Lower Level Lodge - Whether you are looking for a place to relax, dine or watch the slopes, the Bakery redesign will benefit everyone. Design elements similar to those of the Alpine Market and Alpine Room will also be found in the new Bakery, including warm colors and wood accents. The new seating will allow you to relax "slopeside" and watch the mountain while enjoying Starbucks and freshly baked goodies from the inside. Lower level restrooms are also being improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

The Alpine Patio - Along with the improved seating, stone walls, and planters that were added last year, the Alpine Patio will now feature more space and an even better view of the mountain. The new patio area will be a great place for guests to sit back, relax and enjoy the winter scenery.

Group Sales and Ski School - Group Sales and Ski School employees have received a complete office renovation with added space and better workflow between the two departments. The Learning Center Lobby area features a new look where those in large groups and in lessons will be more easily accommodated.

More Helmets - Helmet use is a top priority of this year's mountain safety campaign. A large number of helmets are being added to our rental inventory so that we are better able to provide helmets for all ages and all ability levels.

Advantage Card Holders: Purchase Lift Tickets Online - Another added convenience for our frequent visitors! Advantage Card holders will be able to purchase their lift tickets online before visiting our resort - benefit available by December 13th. Not only will this increase convenience for our card holders, but also decrease ticket lines for all guests. Read more about it here!

Load Snow Dough on your pass or card - Load money on your pass or card and the card can be swiped at any cashier station to pay for goods or services. It works just like cash and is much faster than a credit card! Use your Snow Dough anywhere at all three resorts! You can begin loading Snow Dough once the 09-10 season begins. Connect with Liberty! - Liberty is on Facebook, MySpace and we've got a new blog! Social networking is a great way to stay connected with Liberty - learn about upcoming events and hear the latest in Liberty news. Click here to get connected.

On-mountain Improvements

First Class Area Quad Chairlift - Continuing forward with our commitment to the "Beginner Experience", the bottom lift station of the First Class Area Quad has been remounted and now sits four feet higher than it has in years past. Loading the chairlift will now be much easier for our beginner and first-time skiers and boarders.

More Automated Snowmaking - Sneaky Pete, Lower Nova, Snow Cat Alley, and Mid-Blue Streak trails will all feature new automated snow guns. As our multi-year project continues, we are now up to 60% of the mountain converted to automated, computerized snowmaking. This state-of-the-art functionality enables us to cover the slopes quickly, and much more efficiently. Our computers not only sense and react to conditions for optimal snowmaking, but also make adjustments for optimal energy efficiency. These improvements make us whiter and "greener" at the same time!

New Backside Quad Chairlift - The Eastwind Quad Chairlift has been replaced with a new Doppelmayr CTEC chairlift. The new quad chairlift will offer comfortable seating for guests and will allow for better access of the backside trails from the top of the mountain.

New Groomer - The Pisten Bully 600, the biggest and best of its kind, will be added to our line-up of groomers for the new winter season. Combine the addition of more automated snow guns and a new top-of-the-line groomer, and you've got some great mountain conditions!

Added Progression Terrain - The halfpipe has been "filled in" enabling the terrain to be better utilized as a progression area. The terrain, newly referred to as "East Side", will serve as additional lesson space for the ski and snowboard schools.
