What is the Gift Card?
The Gift card is a prepaid card that can be used at all three resorts. Because it is a prepaid card, spending is limited to the amount of money placed on the card by the purchaser. Each time the card is used, the purchase amount is automatically deducted from the card balance.

How much do they cost?
Online purchase amounts are $20, $50, $75 and $100.
If you purchase your card by calling or visiting the resort, any amount may loaded on the card.
Gift cards in the amount of $20 are available at ski shows and preseason events this fall.

Is there a maximum amount of money I can put on the card?
No

Do gift cards expire?
No, they don’t.

Are cards valid at all three resorts?
Absolutely!

How can I buy one?
You can purchase them through the resort at Guest Services, the Hotel and the Sports Shop or online at the link above.

If I buy online, will you mail the card to me? How much does mailing cost?
Yes, we will send cards. You can choose from First Class $2.00, Federal Express Overnight $20.00, or Priority $6.00.

Can I redeem this card for cash?
Sorry, no.

Can I get change back after a purchase?
No, your card is charged for the exact amount and any balance stays on the card.

What if my card is lost or stolen? Will it be replaced?
No, it will not be replaced. The card is just the same as cash.

Can I check the remaining balance on my card?
Yes, you can check the balance on your card online or through any resort cashier except those in Food Service areas.

Can I add money to a card, if so, how?
Yes, you can keep your card and add additional funds as needed. This may be done at the resort in the Guest Services Office, Sports Shop and Hotel Front Desk or online at the link above.

Are cards valid at all three resorts?
Yes, cards are valid at Liberty, Roundtop and Whitetail, including Whitetail Golf Course.

Can I still use “Liberty Dollars”? 
Yes. Liberty Dollars are accepted at the resort.

Are cards valid for everything at the resort?
You can use your card at almost any retail outlet throughout the resort. Starbucks, McKee’s Tavern, the Sports Shop, and South Pole are all included. However, Basket Check and lockers are not.

Is the card assigned to one person? Will I need to show ID when using the card?
The card is not attached to an individual. It works just like cash – it can be used by anyone.

Are there any kinds of fees associated with the card?
No, none. There is a shipping and handling fee for cards purchased online or by phone.
