Liberty Mountain Resort is conveniently located close to a large variety of attractions. Whether you enjoy the great outdoors, shopping or sightseeing, Liberty is the perfect home base for all activities in the Southern Pennsylvania mountains!

Historic Gettysburg
Gettysburg attractions are an easy 8 mile drive from Liberty. Enjoy the battlefield tour, visitor’s center, restaurants and a variety of other activities. Many Civil War related events and re-enactments happen in Gettysburg each year. Contact our hotel staff for information on upcoming events.

Golf
There are numerous golf courses within a thirty mile radius of Liberty Mountain. Choose from PGA approved courses, one of which is just a few steps away. For a full list of courses in the area, click here. As an added amenity, we would be happy to book your tee time at the Carroll Valley or Mountain View Golf Courses.

Outlet Shopping
The Gettysburg Outlet Mall is a short drive from Liberty. Enjoy big savings on today's hottest brand names. Pennsylvania does not charge sales tax on most clothing purchases so it's like getting a double discount.

Activities at the Resort
During the summer months, Liberty offers a large private outdoor pool and sun deck area. Lounge by the pool or swim a few laps after a walk/hike through the green Pennsylvania hills. There is a whole mountain to explore! We also have all the equipment you need for fun outdoor activities such as a sand volleyball, basketball, horseshoes and croquet.

We invite you to experience the Boulder Ridge Challenge Course - whether it's a fun outing for your youth group or a customized team building activity, we have the perfect staff and location for your group! Our Challenge Course has both high and low course elements to accommodate any age, group size, or ability level. State Parks
Caledonia State Park in Pennsylvania and Catoctin Mountain/Cunningham Falls Park in Maryland both offer miles of hiking trails, swimming and fishing just a few miles from Liberty. Pennsylvania's State Parks do not charge admission fees so they are a great place to get back to nature for the entire family.
